Who We Are

Creating spaces where communities are heard and empowered to act

LSS is a community-driven organization committed to empowering young people and women to actively participate in decisions that affect their livelihood.

Our Story

Founded by young people, for the community

Luminous Safe Space CBO was founded by young people who shared a commitment to creating communities where youths can participate meaningfully in decision making and create positive change. Our journey grew from a shared commitment to social accountability, youth leadership, civic participation and community development. Through community dialogues, petitions, advocacy, stakeholder engagements and youth-led initiatives, we work with communities to identify challenges, engage duty bearers, and advocate for practical solutions.

Our Vision

An inclusive society where young people, especially women, are informed to actively participate in decision making.

Our Mission

To empower community through civic education and advocacy in governance and community development.
